American University of Sharjah (AUS) invites professional psychologists to apply for a Professor of Practice faculty position. AUS seeks candidates who are active psychology professionals in the UAE in any applied area of psychology, including, but not limited to clinical, counseling, educational, school, neuro, behavioral and I/O psychology.
- Professional licensure
- Terminal master’s degree
- Teaching experience
- Professional experience reflecting a strong commitment to psychological science
- Prior (or ongoing) contributions to scholarly activities in psychology
- PhD, PsyD or MD degree
- Teaching experience in a higher education institution based on the American model
Successful candidates will be expected to teach three courses per year and contribute to the intellectual life of a newly developed Bachelor of Arts in Psychology program through curriculum development, assessment and the personal and professional growth of students.
