The Department of Psychology at Morgan State University invites applications for a full-time tenure-track position beginning in the 2017 -2018 Academic Year. The Department particularly seeks individuals whose research and teaching background is in the area of Physiological Psychology, Neuropsychology, or a closely related field. The position includes teaching courses at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Undergraduate courses include: Physiological Psychology, Behavioral Pharmacology, Experimental Psychology Statistics, Research Methods, or Special Topics. Graduate courses include: The Biological Basis of Behavior and other duties as assigned. Responsibilities also include academic advisement of students, establishing a program of small animal research with undergraduate and graduate students, be willing to contribute to the development and maintenance of an animal vivarium (i.e., rodents), and contribution to the department through research, publications, and service.

Applicants must have a PhD in psychology from an accredited institution of higher education. Preference will be given those with post-doctoral, teaching experiences, an established record of research, and research funding. However, ABD candidates will be considered.
