Position:
The Department of Public Administration in the College of Health and Public Service invites applications for a full-time lecturer position starting August 15, 2017. This is a three-year appointment renewable annually.

Responsibilities:
Primary responsibility will be teaching courses in nonprofit management offered by the Department of Public Administration. The Department is in the process of expanding the nonprofit minor and certificate programs. The ideal candidate will participate in this growth and possibly have coordinator responsibilities.

Qualifications:
Candidates should hold a graduate degree in Public Administration & Management, Nonprofit Management, or other relevant fields. Candidates must also have teaching experience at the university level, online teaching experience is a plus. Candidates will be asked to submit teaching evaluations.

Setting:
The University of North Texas, the largest and most comprehensive university in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, has more than 38,000 students, one-fourth of whom are graduate students. The Department offers a minor in both public administration and nonprofit management. The department also offers a Master of Public Administration degree that is nationally ranked by U.S. News & World Report in the area of city management and urban policy, and offers a selective Ph.D. in public administration and management. Both graduate degrees have concentrations in nonprofit management. More information may be obtained at www.padm.unt.edu. Proximity to the DFW metropolitan area, which includes hundreds of local governments, many nonprofit organizations and foundations, and federal regional headquarters, affords numerous opportunities for research and student experiential learning.
