Counseling Services at Kansas State University seeks applicants for the Psychologist position for the Manhattan, KS campus. This individual will be responsible from providing short-term individual, couple and group therapy. Supervising and training doctoral interns, along with consulting with students, faculty and staff regarding mental health issues.
Providing short term individual, couple, and group therapy
Conducting initial assessments, intakes, and crisis sessions
Providing referrals and bridging care to the community as needed
Supervision and training for doctoral interns
Consulting with students, faculty, and staff regarding mental health issues; participating in outreach activities to the campus community
Providing service to the campus community
Required Minimum Qualifications:
Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Counseling Psychology or Clinical Psychology from a APA-accredited or equivalent educational program.
One or more years of work experience in clinical services after being awarded the doctoral degree.
Qualified for psychology licensure by the State of Kansas Behavioral Sciences Board. Licensure in Kansas to be obtained within a negotiated time frame
